An ongoing question in the AI SEO space: does publishing an llms.txt file on your site actually cause AI platforms to crawl it, read it, or use it to guide how they index your content?
We ran an experiment to find out.

This was an early experiment. The methodology was imperfect. We were missing tracking for a few things we'd now catch with Visibility Kit, and the results should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. We're leaving the writeup here as-is. A follow-up with tighter measurement is on the roadmap.
